Description | Phase A: Phase A consists of the renovation of the two eastern most bays of the Warehouse/Shop Building and construction of a new Heated Storage Building. The scope of work includes a new fire lane and service vehicle parking in the northeast quadrant of the site. This phase includes construction of a new SCADA radio tower and employee parking north of the Administration Building Addition. The scope of work in the two Warehouse Shop bays includes cleaning, painting, modifications to the existing fire protection system, removal of a steel mezzanine in work bay #5, cutting and installation of new openings in the CMU demising wall between bays 4 and 5, new lighting and refurbishing of the existing finishes in these areas. The new Heated Storage Building consists of new concrete slab and foundation, split face CMU, steel superstructure, lighting, gas fired heating and ventilation equipment, and motorized overhead sectional doors. Phase B: Phase B consists of the renovation of the three western most bays of the Warehouse/Shop Building, selective demolition and construction of a new addition on the north end of the existing Administration Building. Data and power connections between the new SCADA Tower and SCADA Room in the Administration Building Addition will occur during this phase. Renovations to the Warehouse/Shop building include removal of existing steel mezzanines, modifications to the existing fire protection system, new mechanical, plumbing, electrical and lighting systems, new walls, ceilings and finishes, new doors and frames, removal of existing overhead doors and infilling with glazed aluminum storefront, millwork, CMU and GWB walls, composite concrete metal deck and mechanical mezzanine, steel access ladders and guardrails, and new standing seam metal shed canopies on the north, south and east sides of the building. The Administration Building Addition scope of work includes a hardened SCADA/EOC room with CMU and concrete deck, brick work, drywall, ceilings and finishes, glass curtainwall, structural steel, mechanical mezzanines with pipe guardrails, concrete foundation and slab, cold formed metal trusses and framing, standing seam metal roofing, PVC single membrane roofing with roof insulation, thermal insulation, millwork LED lighting and HVAC systems, interior storefront with sliding doors, AV/IT equipment, emergency generator, landscaping, irrigation and sitework. Phase C: Phase C consists of Main Lobby addition and renovations to the existing Administration Building. The scope of this phase is similar to that of the Phase B Administration Building Addition. Modifications to the existing slab and foundation will be required during this phase as well as new slab and foundation to in-fill between the existing Administration Building and the new Administration Building addition that was constructed in Phase B. |
