Needwood Middle School Modifications and Renovations Phase 3 - Food Service Equipment

The work will consist of furnishing and installing food service equipment in the renovated Needwood Middle School kitchen. Kitchen construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2023 and kitchen equipment installation is expected to begin June 1, 2023 and be completed July 15, 2023. The work will be scheduled and coordinated by Lavender & Associates, Inc., Statesboro, Georgia, Construction Manager, for the project. The food service equipment contract will be directly with the Owner, The Glynn County Board of Education. The following evaluation factors and weights will be used to rate each proposal. The rating committee will rate each firm from 1 to 10 for each factor and then multiply the factor weight by the rating to determine the numerical value of each factor. The numerical value will be totaled to achieve the total rating of each Proposal. 1. Cost Proposal. 40% of total 2. Experience of the food equipment contractor 40% of total 3.
