Solid Waste Services for The Unincorporated Areas of Socorro County

The scope of work consists of operating the County’s convivence centers, commercial roll off operations and offering regularly scheduled (weekly) non-mandatory non-exclusive waste collection for residences in the unincorporated areas of Socorro County. Residences located directly adjacent to refuse collection truck accessible roads may be individually (curbside) along the refuse collection truck accessible road in the closest feasible place in front of the residence. All households not located on refuse collection truck accessible roads may be served by the Contractor from the nearest practicable refuse collection truck accessible road, or in an adequate manner acceptable to the County. There are approximately 3,500 homes in unincorporated areas. It will be the responsibility of contractor to offer household collection to all homes and with added value programs for all homes/residents at a competitive price. The Contractor is responsible for all aspects in providing the service.
