Description

Bids will be reviewed by the Engineer and a recommendation made to the Van Buren Town Council at their regular scheduled Town Council meeting on, Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 at 7:00 pm. The project consists of a new storm sewer system on W. Chester St. from 4th St. to 2nd St. and Milling and Resurfacing of the same area. Also included is paving improvements on Park St. from 4th St. to 2nd St. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: AME Consulting, 712 Arletta Glen Dr., Gas City, IN 46933. Contact Eric Woodmansee, 765-623-5802 or eric@theameconsulting.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A pre-Bid conference will not be held. Questions can be submitted to Eric@TheAMEconsulting.com until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 25 th , 2023. The Final addendum to be issued by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 26 th , 2023.
