Roof Top Unit (RTU) Replacement - TLC

Replace the RTU at the Learning Center (RTU). - The Hazelwood School District is seeking bids for the replacement of the roof top unit (RTU) at The Learning Center (TLC). Any questions regarding the specifications are to be directed to Deedra Sagerty, Director ofPurchasing & Supplier Diversity no later than Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. through the Vendor Registry online. Scope of Work: o Include equipment, labor, and materials to remove and replace the existing McQuay RTU serving the server room and provide installation of an identical RTU for backup. o Provide a new Carrier 30 ton unit to replace the existing McQuay. Curb adapter shall be included/provided to fit the new unit to the existing curb. New unit will be cooling only with economizer and lo-ambient controls. o Provide and install a new Carrier 30 ton unit directly over the server room. Unit will be identical to the previously stated unit. o Provide New ductwork to the server room. Supply duct will extend from the bottom of the unit to blow two directions, and the return will draw from a single point in the room at the roofdeck. o Provide all necessary structural engineering, structural supports, and roofing for thenew RTU. o Provide all necessary power wiring for the scope. o Hoist and set new equipment and remove existing equipment as required. o Provide fast acting fuse disconnect on each unit. o Include and install an equipment screen to cover the new Carrier unit that will be placed directly over the server room so it cannot be seen from the ground. 25% for MBEs and 5% for WBEs
