Replacement at Inspiration Lake

The City determined that replacement of the existing pier is not feasible due to the difficulty of access and the ability to bring in pile driving equipment as well as challenges obtaining approval to reinstall a structure on an earthen dam.The contractor will be fully responsible for the designing, furnishing, delivering and installing of a complete and fully functional new floating dock system, gangway, and appurtenances in accordance with the specifications and plans as specified herein as a basis. The contractor will be responsible for all erosion and sediment controls, minor tree trimming work as needed to have a clear walkable path. It is anticipated that no trees will be removed with this work. The contractor will be also responsible to install a sidewalk connection to the existing asphalt path, installation of riprap and underlayment, excavation and any debris removal. Site and erosion control plan is provided with the RFP (See Exhibit F).
