Description

Construction of a new 309,000 SF four-story structure with a lower level. The building is constructed with typical spread footing and stem wall concrete construction with a concrete slab on grade over the aggregate pier reinforced soil. The structure is structural steel, fireproofed, with CFMF and CMU back up wall structure covered with brick veneer and various metal panel materials. The structure has radial and canted structural framing and includes large curtainwall, storefront, and punched windows, and a TPO roof to complete the building envelope. All new utility services will provide electrical, gas, water, sanitary services from the street to the building. The new building and all adjacent site improvements for parking and drive access will be constructed beginning in September of 2022. The High School and Middle School/High School Performing Arts and Kitchen will be complete for occupancy in February 2025. The Middle School Academic Wing and existing Gym renovation will be completed for the FF&E installation in June 2025. Following the abatement and renovation of the Gym, the remaining existing building will be decommissioned, abated, and demolished making way for the construction of one additional parking area and the new ball fields.
