Replace Central Plant Boilers

Provide design-build services for the design, sizing, and installation of replacement boilers and associated piping, pumps, and hot water piping system in the AMSC central plant. The scope of work at the Central Plant will include removal of the existing steam boilers, steam-to-hot water converter, pumps and steam and steam condensate piping. The replacement boilers and hot water piping system will temporarily provide heating water for the existing heating water loop serving multiple buildings until a future project will provide dedicated boilers at each building, or combination of buildings, and modifications made to the central loop piping allowing the decommissioning of most of the hot water loop. The buildings currently served by the central heating water plant, and therefore the replacement boilers, are: Academic – Building 500; Central Plant; Library/Administration Building - Building 600; Student Services & Success Building - Building 650; Physical Education – Building 700.
