Barnett Building First Floor HVAC Replacement

To provide all labor, materials, equipment, delivery, and to perform all applicable work necessary to provide Barnett Building 1 st Floor HVAC Replacement. The Barnett Building is located at 1228 Colonial Commons, Lancaster, South Carolina. 1. All HVAC units to be replaced are on the 1st floor of the building. 2. No work will be required in the Pharmacy (unit has already been replaced) 3. All thermostats are to be replaced with new programmable units. 4. No ductwork will be required other than what is required to install new units. All zones will remain the same. 5. All units will be replaced with commercial units with equal or greater specifications than the units they are replacing. 6. Bids will include all taxes, shipping, labor, and materials to fully complete installation, startup and testing. This will include gas hook up and electrical. 7. Warranty on all units shall be at least 10 years. 8. Installation should be to manufacturer’s standards, as to not void any part of the warranty. 9. Ductwork attachments must be performed in a manner that minimizes air loss. Tape and at least 2 coats of Mastic will be required. Mastic must be fully dry before second coat is applied. 10.All warranty paperwork will be turned over to the County before final payment can be made. Start up and testing with a Lancaster County representative present will also be required. 11.Permits will be required. These permits will be acquired through the Lancaster County Building Department located at 101 North Main Street. There will be no charge for the permit. Final inspection will be turned in with the final invoice. 12.Contractors and subcontractors are required to purchase a business license through the City of Lancaster. Proof of a City business license will be required before payment is issued. 13.A separate proposal document shall be attached to the bid that specifically names each unit, including brand, size, and model.
