SMART Construction of a Maintenance Building & Train Wheel Press Installation Solicitation Contract No. CV-BB-22-001; Project Description: SMART is seeking Sealed Bids from qualified and experienced contractors for a multi-phase project to install a wheel press machine and perform substantial building and electrical improvements to allow for the installation. Phase 1 is to convert an existing outdoor overhead canopy to an enclosed storage facility for SMART's Maintenance Department to be used for parts storage. Phase 2 consists of unloading and placing a train wheel press machine and connecting to electrical. All work to be performed at SMART's Rail Operation Center.
