Description | Contract - SH - 22 -Hauling of approximately 750,000 gallons per month of sludge from the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority, Water Pollution Control Facility, 110 Continental Drive, Budd Lake, New Jersey 07828 to the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners facility, 600 Wilson Avenue, Newark, NJ. (or other facility of PVSC is at capacity) for a period of one year or two years. Bids must be made on the Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place and on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the Contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a duly executed Non-Collusion Affidavit. Further, the Board of Commissioners of the Musconetcong Sewerage Authority shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids if in the interest of the Authority it deems it advisable to do so, or to waive insubstantial irregularities in the bid proposal as permitted by law. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and other bid documents prior to the award of the contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C.127 (non-discrimination) and P.L. 1977, C. 33 (public disclosure) and be registered with the State of New Jersey Department of Labor in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-2.1 and N.J.S.A. 52:32-55 et seq. (P.L. 2012, Chap. 25) respecting the disclosure of investment activities in Iran. Bidders are required to submit with their bid a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44. (P.L. 2004, c. 57). The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to select the contract term which in its judgment best serves the public interest and meets the definition of responsive and responsible in N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-1 et. seq. |
