Replacement of Depot Street Bridge over Deer River

The project consists of replacing the existing single span crossing of Depot Street over the Deer River in the Town of Brasher with a new structure. The proposed bridge will consist of a single span, multiple steel girders with a composite concrete deck system. The superstructure will be supported on cast-in-place concrete abutments on driven steel H-piles. Approximately 800 linear feet of the approach highway will be reconstructed as part of the project. The work on the approaches includes full depth reconstruction, closed drainage and guide rail installation. Traffic will be maintained on an off-site detour route during construction.
