Description | We are seeking bids to move the sideline fencing 4 feet with new post as required. Remove entire 12-foot-high sideline fence 112 feet in length and set new post on adjusted lot line. Re-use existing fabric, attachments and supports to attach fence to the new post. All post and any supporting hardware should be painted black. Existing posts are to be cut flush to the ground. Sideline fencing will marry into front and rear fencing after adjustments and become the new corners. Current fencing is 12 feet high 9 gauge X 2inch openings chain link, with black vinyl coating. Project to include new post as required and will be strengthened by top, bottom, and center rails, using as much of the onsite materials as possible. Replacement terminal post will be set on the front and rear fence lines creating a new corner. Terminal post will be 2 7/8 O.D, with line post at 2 3/8 O.D. All post are to be set in concrete with maximum spacing of 10 ft. on center. Both terminal post and line post are to have footings of 12" diameter X 36" deep. A mandatory onsite visit with all potential bidders at the same time, to review scope of work and visually see the limitations is required. Bid Requirements: Contractor must have a valid California Contractor's license. Contractor must have a valid City of Richmond Business license. Contractor responsible for meeting City of Richmond contractor's requirements including insurance and prevailing wage guidelines. All work to be coordinated with City of Richmond Parks Maintenance Superintendent or his designee.
