Description | Furnish all materials and labor for Media Center HVAC Renovations for Union Pines High School. The work is intended to be performed over summer break after students and staff have left. Should work on site be required after the beginning of school the remaining work must be performed after hours, on weekends, or holidays. A brief outline description of work in the project follows: Work includes but is not limited to: demolition of (3) existing 10T split system AC units and AHU's with associated piping, wiring, circuits, roof supports etc; demolition of certain existing skylights and curbs and roofing in the areas of the replacement rooftop packaged units; ceiling tile, grid, and light fixture demolition to expose existing ductwork and structure in rooms adjacent to Media Center; cutting of concrete roof and replacement of roofing where new curbs are installed and skylight frames removed; new structural framing for roof curbs and openings; new ducts, supply and return grilles; and new rooftop packaged AC units; new duct mounted hot water coils and extension of hot water hating piping to new coils and associated controls.. Ceiling tile removal and reinstallation as required to access above lay-in ceiling areas of Media Center will be included in the scope of work. New ceiling grid, tiles, and lights will be installed where the entire ceilings were removed. All work required for HVAC system operation throughout the facility must be completed by August 12, 2024. The remainder of the work must be completed by September 2, 2024. Questions shall be submitted in writing via email to Admin@TriadEngMEP.com. Questions received by 5pm Thursday July 27, 2024 will be answered and addressed via addendum if required. Questions received after this time will not be acknowledged. |
