Description

The proposed scope of work will include the following: Combining treatment from the Town of Sullivan Sanitary District No. 1 and the Village of Sullivan into a single treatment facility at the District’s existing WWTF. The District’s existing WWTF will be converted into the Commission’s WWTF, improvements to that site will include renovation of the existing District pump station and administration building, construction of a new process control building to house influent screening and sampling, RAS pumping, chemical feed, electrical and water system components, construction of a new oxidation ditch, construction of two new covered circular final clarifiers with UV disinfection and effluent flow metering, renovation of the existing final clarifier into an aerated sludge holding tank, construction of a new concrete sludge storage tank, installation of new blowers into the existing shed, installation of a new SCADA system and standby generator, demolition of the existing oxidation ditch and sludge drying beds, and construction of a new well. Improvements to the Village’s existing WWTF will include construction of a new pump station and associated building, installation of a new standby generator, minor renovation of the existing administration building, and demolition of the existing primary and intermediate clarifiers, trickling filter, oxidation ditch and final clarifier, sludge drying beds, and site piping. Work common to each site will include site work to include erosion control, site piping, road construction and paving, grading and landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical to support the new buildings, and electrical and SCADA improvements at the District and Village’s remote lift station sites. A separate Contract B will install a force main between the Village and Commission WWTF to convey the Village’s wastewater to the new WWTF. Bidders must submit the Bidders Proof of Responsibility to the Sullivan Joint Wastewater Commission as per Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes
