North Champlain Street and Manhattan Drive Bikeways

Burlington Department of Public Works is seeking bids for the following project: LOCATION: In the City of Burlington on Manhattan Drive between Washington Street and Spring Street and on North Champlain Street between Manhattan Drive and Pearl Street. TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes the construction of a two way cycle track on the west side of North Champlain Street, shared use and bicycle lane pavement markings on Manhattan Drive, signal improvements, pavement markings and signage, and other incidental items. For more information or full bid documents, contact Julia Ursaki at jursaki@burlingtonvt.gov ENGINEERS ESTIMATE: For this Proposal the Engineers Estimate of the base bid is between $250,000 - $500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the City of Burlington for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check. Any awarded contract is subject to the Burlington Pre-Qualification of Construction Contractors, the Burlington Livable Wage Ordinance, the Burlington Union Deterrence Ordinance, and the Burlington Outsourcing Ordinance. No bid will be accepted without a signed statement of intent to comply with these ordinances and a filled out PreQualification of Construction Contractors Application.
