Morgantown Municipal Airport MGW Runway 18-36 Extension Construction Phase 3

Bidders are invited to submit proposals for the MGW Runway 18-36 Extension: Construction Phase 3 for the Morgantown Municipal Airport. The City of Morgantown intends to complete earthwork and site preparation off the Runway 36 end. Work includes: 1. Erosion and Sedimentation (E&S) Control 2. Clearing and Grubbing 3. Excavation and Stockpiling of Materials 4. Construction or placement of embankment 5. Demolition of houses The project will be bid as a base bid and one additive alternate, identified as Add Alternate 1. Add Alternate 1 will consist of additional Excavation and Rock Excavation. If Add Alternate 1 is awarded, additional material will be excavated as specified in the contract documents and placed in the appropriate stockpiles at the locations shown on the plans. Proposal must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, bank good faith check, or other irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of proposal and made payable to the order of the City of Morgantown. Only the Bid Securities listed will be accepted. The City of Morgantown reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals.
