Description | For the Low-Slope Roof Replacement project, 5 Barton Square, in Salem, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Andrew M. Brockway & Associates. The Project consists of: Removal of built-up roof system with flood-coated gravel and replacement with new modified bitumen roof & insulation system and metal coping and flashings. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive; Federal Regulation 24 CFR Part 85.36 and the Davis-Bacon Act. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, Roofing, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement (Form CQ 3) General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the "Salem Housing Authority". |
