Description

I**As of August 23 2022, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** mprovements to or replacement of all City of Three Rivers Pump Stations. Project is funded through State of Michigan Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) In general, the work consists of improvements to or replacement of all City of Three Rivers, Michigan pumping stations. Work includes replacement of the existing Constantine Street pump station with two new pump stations located on either side of the St. Joseph River, as well as a new, directionally drilled force main river crossing. Additional project work includes replacement and relocation of the American Axle pump station. Three additional stations will have significant improvements. Fourth Street and Union Street will receive new pumps, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and appurtenances at the existing pump stations. Adams Street pump stations will also receive improvements including a new roof, electrical equipment, instrumentation, and appurtenances. The remaining six, City pump stations; Airport, Hov Aire, Cinema, Coolidge, East Strip Mall, and Shell gas station will each receive new SCADA equipment. Bids must be submitted on the forms bound herein, must contain the names of every person or company interested therein, and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the amount bid with satisfactory corporate surety, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 50% of the Bid. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 30 days after the actual opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner. WAGES: Davis-Bacon Wage Rates
