Description | Installation Locations 1. 5th floor- All areas except large conference room (Floor Plan to be handed out at Onsite) 2. 4th floor- Vice and adjoining offices, Conference room (Floor Plan to be handed out at Onsite) 3. 3rd floor- Records, EOC, Interview room, Captain’s Office, 416 offices, Community policing offices, Assembly room, Sergeant’s office, Training offices, Training conference room (Floor Plan to be handed out at Onsite) 4. 3rd floor - Dispatch center, Dispatch offices (Floor Plan to be handed out at Onsite) The work shall include the following: 1. All floor preparation, including removal and disposal of existing flooring, cleaning of debris and scarification if necessary, will be the responsibility of the successful Respondent. 2. Carpet tile shall be glued in accordance with and using a recognized brand of adhesive recommended by the carpet manufacturer. The floor contains a Walker Duct Wire Management System and these areas MUST be adhered with a “releasable” adhesive. The Respondent shall specify the brand and type of glue to be used and shall provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) with the quote response. Installation shall lay flat and be free of bubbles and not move when subject to traffic. 3. Any carpet and vinyl wall base within the work area shall be included. 4. Material storage shall be the responsibility of the successful Respondent. There is limited, unsecured space to store the material on-site. 5. The flooring substrate is concrete. 6. It will be the responsibility of the Respondent to elevate and install beneath modular office systems and to move furniture as needed (i.e. conference tables, desks, file cabinets, seating, etc.) and move back/restore to original location furniture after installation is completed. 7. Owner will be responsible for disconnecting and re-connecting computers, phones and/or miscellaneous technology cabling. 8. It is the responsibility of the Respondent to obtain accurate measurements. 9. All work is to be done in a first-class manner. All debris (packing materials, replaced materials, etc.) are the responsibility of the Respondent for clean-up in the installation area(s) and overall facility as well as removed/disposal. NOTE: The County’s dumpster is not to be utilized for this debris. 10. Work times will be coordinated as to not interfere with the daily operations. Therefore, the work for specific area(s) are as follows: a. All areas work will need to be completed beginning at 5 PM on weekdays or at any time during the weekend in coordination with the awarded Respondent. **NOTE: If the work is done on a weekday, then the portion of the area completed MUST be put back in order for staff to work on the following day. b. Some conference rooms / breakrooms could be made available on the 3rd and 4th floors during daytime hours if necessary. 11. Material Specifications: Jasper Tile, 5T016, Tourmaline, 14320 – See Exhibit A 12. Installation Pattern: a. Installation method(s) will be coordinated with the awarded Respondent b. Pattern(s) MUST be confirmed on-site prior to install. |
