Description | For the furnishing and delivery of all materials and equipment and performing all necessary installation and construction consistent with the Contract Documents for the replacement of the Standby Power Generator and controls at the Rockfish Creek Water Reclamation Facility all as set forth in the Bid Schedules. Any untimely submitted bid will be promptly returned to the Bidder unopened. All potential bidders must email Tanya Hazlett, PWC Procurement Advisor, at Tanya.hazlett@faypwc.com of their intent to attend at least twenty-four hours in advance of the conference to be added to the we Potential bidders will have the ability to join the web conference via phone at: 910-302-6113 meeting ID: 673076725 and/or via web base with the Microsoft application TEAMS. It is encouraged to utilize the application via web as this pre-bid will contain a presentation of plans and an agenda. Should you need assistance accessing the TEAMS application via web, smart-phone, or tablet please reach out to Tanya Hazlett via email at the email address listed above or via phone at (910) 223-4023. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by cash, cashiers check, or certified check drawn on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or Savings Association Insurance Fund. Checks shall be made payable to the Fayetteville Public Works Commission in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that a contract, if awarded, will be entered into by and between the Bidder and PWC. In lieu thereof, a Bid Bond which conforms to the provisions of NCGS 143-129 as amended by Chapter 1104 of the Public Laws of 1951 may be submitted by the Bidder. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and are to be marked Bids for Replace standby power generator at the rockfish creek water reclamation facility, not to be opened until 2:00 P.M. Local time DECEMBER 1, 2022. Bidders are to mail or deliver their proposals as follows: Fayetteville Public Works Commission; Attn: Tanya Hazlett, Procurement Advisor; 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301. PWC reserves its right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities concerning any bid, or award bid to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder or Bidders taking into consideration quality, performance, and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the contract. |
