Road Weather Information System (Rwis) Repairs

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), St. Louis District is seeking bids from vendors who can provide maintenance, system diagnostics, and repairs of Road Weather Information Systems (RWIS) sites within the district. The St. Louis District geographic area covers the City of St. Louis and four counties (St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, and Franklin County). The St. Louis District has a total of 12 RWIS systems located sporadically throughout the district, of which at least (8) systems will need some level of maintenance and repairs. The objective is to get all systems fully functional and remotely communicating for winter operations by November 30, 2021. All RWIS sites are hosted on the Weather Sentry DTN web portal. The eight St. Louis RWIS locations include: 1) I-70 Westbound at the Blanchette Bridge, St. Louis County 2) US 67 Southbound at MO 94, West Alton, St. Louis County 3) I-64 Eastbound at the Boone Bridge, St. Louis County 4) I-44 Eastbound at Jamieson Ave, St. Louis City 5) I-44 Westbound at the Meramec River, Eureka, St. Louis County 6) I-44 Eastbound at Highway 50, Franklin County 7) I-255 Eastbound at the Jefferson Barracks Bridge, St. Louis County 8) I-55 Southbound South of Festus, Jefferson County
