Description

Design-Build services are being requested for the dam decommissioning of Reclamation No. 3 (also known as “Lake Buckeye” or “Stump Lake”) located in Perry State Forest. Stump Lake dam is a Class I structure. Perry State Forest and Stump Lake are Abandoned Mine Lands and the impoundment is a remnant of coal strip mining activities. The dam is 47.5’ tall, 850’ long, and 47’ wide at the crest. The maximum storage is approximately 250 acre-feet. The structure consists of an earthen embankment, a reinforced concrete pipe spillway, a vegetated emergency spillway, and a gravel roadway spanning the crest.
