Description

Project 1 involves the design and permitting of a sidewalk on County Road 760A from SW Welles Avenue to Carlton Avenue. This project is entirely within DeSoto County right of way. This project involves evaluating existing right of way, siting of new sidewalk, ADA compliant road crossing and connection to the Project 2 sidewalk. Project 2 involves the design and permitting of a sidewalk on SW Welles Avenue from CR 760A to Carlton Avenue. This project is predominantly within DeSoto County right of way; however, the northern portion will be within the FDOT right of way for US Highway 17. This project involves evaluating existing rights of way, siting of new sidewalk, coordination with the DeSoto County School Board regarding sidewalk connection to the Nocatee Elementary School, potential ADA compliant road crossing and connection to the Project 1 sidewalk. This project also includes roadway improvements allowed by the County’s SCOP Agreement.
