Description | **As of November 29, 2022, project was awarded to RPM xConstruction LLC, awarded amount is $3,270,795.35.** Walden Pond West Phase 1 Paving Improvements The Developer, MM Walden Pond West, LLC, will be the Payor for the contract for the District. In addition to sealed bids delivered to the office of the District Engineer, electronic bids may be submitted online , search Walden Pond West Phase 1 Paving Improvements, or 2019003D-0103W. See details regarding online bidding below. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the Office of the Governor order issued March 16, 2020. Other than dropping off a bid, there will be no public access to the location described above. The public dial-in number to participate in the bid opening via teleconference call is 1-877-309-2073 and Access Code 655-101-709. Obtaining the Bidding Documents Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained online or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Once roll call is taken, late attendees will not be eligible to bid. Bids submitted by parties not attending the mandatory pre-bid conference will not be accepted or opened, but will be delivered to the owner for their consideration. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond from a surety company holding a permit in the State of Texas for an amount equal to 2% of the amount bid. The amount of said cashier's check or bond will be forfeited to the Owner and the bank or surety shall be liable to the Owner for the amount in event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract or furnish bonds as hereafter required within ten (10) days after the date of notice of award. If awarded the contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, Form 1295, and Verification of Compliance with Government Code Chapters 2252 and 2270 form will be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding in case of lack of clarity in stating prices or bid submittals. The Owner is not obligated to accept the lowest bid or any bid. The Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous bidder for construction thereof or reject the bid. The contract of award may include full consideration of base bid, period of performance, and financial standings of the Contractor with the Owner, District, and City. |
