| Description | Breaking ice on the channel so as to help prevent flooding. Proposals must include proof of insurance. Awardee represents that at all times during the term of this contract, awardee will have an ice breaker boat capable of performing the services required. Awardee shall perform ice breaking services within twenty-four (24) hours of a request by the Mayor or Director of Public Services for the City of Vermilion to do so unless it is determined by awardee that hazardous conditions are existent endangering the safety of the crews manning the ice breaker boat(s). |
