Description | **As of September 27, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project is to replace existing windows in the first and second floor areas of the School. The goal of the Owner is to accomplish Project completion by 31 December, 2023. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids. When the bid is less than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), the name of the contractor only may appear on the outside of the envelope containing the bid, and upon opening the envelope, if such bid is in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), the same shall automatically be disqualifi ed. Prime contractor bidders who are to perform the electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (if applicable to the project) must be so designated upon the outside of the envelope. Failure of any bidder to comply therewith shall void such bid and the envelope containing such bid shall not be opened or considered. In the case of joint ventures bids, each party submitting the bid must provide this information. All Bidders shall comply with the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 and as amended (TCA Title 62). All Bidders shall comply with the Tennessee Contractor License law Section 62-6- 119 (Bid Documents-Required disclosure by bidders) when submitting bids. All bids must be made out on the Bid Form bound in the contract documents, and the Bid Form should be detached from the contract documents. With the bid, each Bidder must deposit security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required for the successful Bidder.
