SCOPE OF WORK Central Arkansas Water is taking bids to replace the existing generator steel cooling water piping. Cooling water piping consisting of generator building intake and discharge lines supply lines to three circulating pumps. From circulating pumps discharge to two heat exchangers intake/discharge connection. From heat exchanger connection to generator engine block connection. Below is approximate list of material needed to complete project. Before submitting a bid on the project, the contractor must coordinate to meet on site with CAW maintenance supervisor to determine all material and labor required to complete the job in whole. The job to be completed in 30 days of start date. Start date 10/10/2022. Approximate Material List 126 ft. 8" schedule 40 steel pipe 9- 8" 90s 14-8" tees 6- 8" 45s 10- 8" flanges 1 - 8" blind flange 200 ft. 6" schedule 40 steel pipe 26- 6" 90 elbows 10- 6" 45 elbows 42- 6" sch 80 flanges 10- 6" X 3" Concentric reducers 20- assorted thread-o-lets Bolt and gaskets sets for all flanges
