Seguin Police Department Parking Lot Improvements

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope (8 1/2 " x 11" minimum), clearly marked as follows: SEALED BID: SPD Parking Lot Improvements Bid No. TF-2022-29 To be opened at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 26, 2022 Principle items of construction will include: The construction and installation of fences, vehicular and pedestrian gates, curb and gutter, sidewalk and ramps, electrical conduit, landscaping; and all other necessary appurtenances to complete the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an approved bidders bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum total bid, payable to the City of Seguin, Texas without recourse, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten (10) working days after the award of contract. The City of Seguin reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids or combination of bids and to waive informalities. The City of Seguin (OWNER) invites proposals for the construction of parking lot improvements. Principal items of construction will include: 1. Fence and Gates on Medlin Street and N. Saunders Street, at the City of Seguin Police Station, 2. Concrete driveways, curbs, sidewalks, ramps, 3. Asphalt parking lot modifications, 4. Electrical work. The City of Seguin has established a target commencement date for construction activities as September 1, 2022. The projected completion date is estimated to be November 30, 2022. The City of Seguin reserves the right to phase the construction of the Project or modify the schedule as needed and determined by the City due to modifications in scope. Please submit questions for this project no later than 5 PM on July 15, 2022 to Seguin Purchasing Manager, Twila Wood at twood@seguintexas.gov. Questions will be answered via addenda and posted on the City's website above. It is the responsibility of the contractor bidding to check the website for addenda issued and the proper scaling, paper width and length, etc. Failure to do so may result in error in the unit bid quantities and/or bid amounts.
