Range Creek Herbicide Treatment

Contract provide for noxious weed herbicide treatment into multiple units previously treated mechanically for pinyon and juniper removal within the Range Creek Project area. These units were treated by cut and scattered PJ material or masticated in the Range Creek Project in 2014. Due to the large amount of branches, limbs, and trunks in the project area units will require herbicide to be applied without driving or flying the herbicide over the target area. See table below for a summary of units and acres. This includes the contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals to apply herbicide on approximately 447 total acres within the Range Creek project area. The project is located approximately 11 miles southeast of Sunnyside, UT in Carbon and Emery County, Utah.
