Description

This is a single prime contract with a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Provide all labor, materials and equipment required with the facade replacement and associated asbestos removal within the scope of work identified on the bid documents for the Courtyard enclosure, Expansion of Food Services & Asbestos Abatement project at the Science Building located at Queensborough Community College Campus at 222-05 56th Avenue, NY 11364. The project includes the expansion of food services and full enclosure of the courtyard area into an indoor dining space. There will be a new commercial kitchen at the cellar level, and full renovation and expansion of the existing servery on the first floor. A new two-stop hydraulic elevator will provide access between the kitchen and servery for food service staff. The current scope of work identified in the construction documents. The work also includes asbestos abatement, mechanical work, electrical and fire alarm work, and other general construction work Add Alternate: Provide and install cellar kitchen equipment. Estimated Construction Cost (Base): -$12,500,000 - $13,350,000 All work to be performed while building is occupied and phased to accommodate abatement and to limit disruption to spaces adjacent to work. The Contractor is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the work of all trades to ensure the scheduled completion date is met. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
