Dema Picacho Navigation Beacon Installation (M19-0005) Single

Picacho Airfield requires a 55 foot or taller rotating airfield beacon in order to meet the requirements of UFC 3-535-01. The CFMO is in possession of a L801 rotating beacon. The beacon needs to be installed on a pole or tower that will allow easy access to the beacon for maintenance and repair. This project is to provide a fully functional navigation tower with rotating beacon in accordance with FAA and Army regulations. This project will involve the purchase and installation of a minimum 55 foot Hali-Brite tip down pole (or equivalent) compatible with an L801 beacon. The beacon has been purchased and will need to be installed on the completed tower. Contractor will need to purchase the pole, design and construct a foundation, run and tie in any needed utilities, and provide all needed hardware for mounting. This project will be built at the AZARNG Picacho Airfield in Picacho, Arizona.
