For constructing the Roadway Improvements (Turning Radius Improvements) on SR-5 at CR-12 and on SR-183 at CR-12 to include the Roadway Safety Improvements (Centerline Scoring and Traffic Stripe) on CR-12 from the junction of SR-183 in Uniontown to the junction of SR-5. Length 9.009 mi. The Bracket Estimate on this project is from $459,260 to $561,318 . Cashier's check or bid bond for 5% of bid (maximum - $50,000.00) made payable to the Alabama Department of Transportation must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith. The Alabama Department of Transportation, proposals will be issued only to prequalified contractors or their authorized representatives, upon requests that are received before 10 AM., on the day previous to the day of opening of bids.
