Description | 1. Contractor shall remove all existing roofing material being replaced and haul-away. 2. Install a new insolation board. (No gaps greater than ¼” to bring the building up to code). 3. Install an approved fully adhered black EPDM roof 60 mil using adhesive to attach the entire roof membrane to the underlying insulation coverboard. 4. Install new coverboard that meets the Manufacture suggested material, specifications, and adhering techniques. 5. Replace metal flashing and ensure membrane goes up to a sufficient height under the metal to comply with manufacture warranty. Ensure no areas of penetration. (Picture 1-2) 6. The contractor is responsible for making sure roof substrate has adequate rigidity, or anchoring points for the roof system and check for any high and low spots in the roof which could cause water pooling. And if not shall fix as appropriate. 7. Flashing, trim, closures strips, caps and similar metal components shall not be less than the minimum thickness as specified by manufacturer and match panels or trim in finish. 8. Install a 6” K style gutter system with downspout that will connect to existing drain to the location of the pump maintenance side of the roof to allow for adequate drainage so that water will not pool up on the roof. (Picture 6-7) 9. All color selections to be determined by TFACA and approved by the Facilities Management. 10. All material substitutions must be pre-approved. 11. All materials shall be installed per manufacturer’s recommendation and best practice. 12. Provide a rollway to collect garbage and remove debris. 13. Price of delivery, haul-away, and garbage shall be considered in the bid price. On-Site work shall be performed between contract award and June 15, 2023, unless an exception is granted by the State contacts listed below.
