PCC Patching

DESCRIPTION OF WORK This work consists of patching Portland Cement Concrete pavement for the City of Rockford at various locations within the City. Locations will be determined by the City of Rockford’s Water Division and/or Street Division based on water main breaks or any other related work to Water Division utilities, including but not limited to water main, services, hydrants, valves, shut off boxes, etc. and storm sewers. The amount of pavement at each location requiring replacement shall be determined in the field by a representative from the Water or Street Division based on the extent of repairs to the water/storm utilities. These items will be for unscheduled repairs (emergency repairs) and non-emergency repairs on an as needed basis for the City of Rockford. This Contract will consist of mostly unscheduled repairs, but may include scheduled repairs periodically at the direction of the City of Rockford Water Division and the City of Rockford Street Division. The term of the Contract for this Project will end on December 31, 2022 with an option to extend in one year increments for three (3) additional years by mutual consent of both the City and the Contractor.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Utility Drainage Piping, Storm Utility Water Drains, Storm Drainage Structures.
