1570 SPR Southerly PLC Replacement

In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: * Replace existing programmable logic controller (PLC) panels containing Allen-Bradley legacy components with new PLC panels containing ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLC platform components. Replace existing end-of-life control system components with active lifecycle components in existing PLC panels. Provide, terminate, test, and commission new PLCs and associated I/O and components, and demolish existing PLC panels. * Replace existing DeviceNet communication networks to valve/gate actuators, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other components with hardwired signals or Ethernet communication networks. * Replace valves and instruments that are in disrepair. * Provide cable, conduit, and electrical systems to support new and modified components. * Provide, terminate, calibrate, test, and commission new instrumentation. * Investigate, field verify, and document existing wiring to/from existing PLC panels Estimate : $17,000,000.00 The Engineer's Estimate for the Southerly PLC Replacement Project is $17,000,000.00.
