Housing Rehabilitation Program - Gutters, Downs, & Windows (Dominguez)

Two new 5”@ 6’ gutters for front porch and new downs. New tail extensions on 4 of existing downs. 2 extensions need to be 5’ and 2 will need to be 6’ or longer on the front of the house. Brown is the gutter and down color. Eleven Remove old replacement windows and exterior wraps. Replace damage/rotted wood to prep window RO for vinyl new construction window. These windows must have solid fixed flanges no snap in flanges. The windows will need rubberized sill tape, one continuous seal and folded up the sides 6”. Caulking applied to sides and top of window flanges. Tape sides and top of window flanges with approved window rubberized tape after proper nailing. Call Jeff Laxton 309-732-2906 for inspection after installed and taped. Note all windows will be shimmed up ¼” from sill, and around entire window frame ¼” being the minimum allowance for the closest part touching window between the frame and wood framing. The windows must meet energy codes. Exterior will be furred out to or past the siding. Wrapped with white coil stock and color match caulk, sealing all edges between windows, fur outs, and siding. Interior insulate window frames. Preferred using the nonexpanding window and door foam. The extensions jambs will be paintable or primed wood boxed framed. Window casing 2 ¼” primed or paintable. No MDF or plastic millwork.
