This project is for the improvement of sections of SR 248, SR 8006 and SR 8008 along with SR 2002. This project is in Carbon County East Penn Township, Franklin Township, Lower Towamensing Township, Bowmanstown Borough, Palmerton Borough, and Parryville Borough. Sr 248 – Seg 10/0 to Seg 130/2377 & Seg 11/0 to Seg 131/3085. Sr 2002 – Seg 10/0 to Seg 20/50 & Seg 11/0 To Seg 11/1152. Sr 8006 – Seg 500/0 to Seg 500/1062. Sr 8008 – Seg 10/0 to Seg 10/1280, Seg 20/0 to Seg 20/910, Seg 250/0 to Seg 250/475 & Seg 500/0 to Seg 500/408. The project will include rock fence upgrade, median barrier upgrade, concrete patching, concrete joint rehabilitation, bituminous milling and paving, shoulder upgrade, improvements to the guide rail, pavement marking and other miscellaneous items.
