Description

The Kalama School District desires an updated camera and recording system for our High School, Gymnasium and Annex covering the entryways, hallways, and surrounding parking lots. Scope of Work Provide (44) new security cameras at new and existing locations throughout High School, Middle School, and Annex building. New cameras, including multisensor cameras, to provide (76) new camera views. See included markup showing new camera locations with identifying camera numbers. Provide new Exacq recording server and licensing to accommodate new cameras. The District has provided manufacturer preference but is willing to accept proposals featuring other equipment that is functionally equivalent. Functional equivalence must be proven through documentation provided by the bidder. All equipment must be new and from an authorized representation of the manufacturer's product for which they are quoting. No refurbished or grey-market gear will be accepted. The vendor shall be an entity normally engaged in engineering, design, procurement, installation, and training for the camera system. The vendor shall be a certified installer of system components and cabling by the manufacturer of the same. Bid response shall include documentation outlining the vendor s qualifications complete with references of successful implementations within the last three (3) years. All proposals are to contain costs for taxes and shipping as separate items. Vendor is responsible for all necessary permits and inspections. Proposal questions to be in writing addressed to Bob Von Roch - bob.vonroch@kalama.k12.wa.us by November 15th, 2022, 12:00 pm. Information to Bidders Vendor shall provide a complete submittal of all proposed components and cabling for review by owners representative. Owner is responsible for all necessary integration work as required by the system implementation. This includes configuration of VLANs, service profiles, mapping, authentication, etc. Vendor shall provide final testing, commissioning and training of system. ( Owner shall provide ONTs with PoE support. Proposal Evaluation It is anticipated that a contract will be made with the company whose proposal is determined to be in the overall best interest of the District. The primary evaluation considerations are industry experience, qualifications, price and availability. Specific Instruction for the Proposal Proposals to be signed by qualified Bidder and will act as the project contract if selected by Kalama School District. Bidders shall thoroughly examine the basis of design drawings and District equipment specification list. The submission of a proposal shall be taken as evidence the documents have been reviewed. All items shall be delivered in quantities specified in the proposal F.O.B. at the points described by the District representative. All items furnished shall comply with approved submittals, contract jobsite and documents and shall be subject to inspection and rejection by the District for defects or non-compliance.
