Description | Acting as the Construction Manager for the UNL Neihardt Complex Piper Deconstruction in Lincoln, NE. Sampson Construction is seeking proposals for demolition of Piper Hall and repair where Piper ties into Neihardt. It is anticipated this work will begin as soon as the fall semester is over and be completed as close to the start of the spring semester as possible, December 16, 2022 to January 23, 2023. Other info: UNL will carry the demolition permit. SWPPP permit is not required, but standard SWPPP practices will be followed. The crushed limestone on C2.0 will be used for future staging. Please provide alternate for similar crushed concrete and an alternate to provide geotextile fabric under the limestone or crushed concrete. Piper has been abated completely as part of a previous project. 2018 IBC, IMC, IEBC 2018 IECC 2018 UPC 2017 NEC The Owner and General Contractor shall have the right to reject any or all bids, which are in any way incomplete or irregular, and to waive any informality in any proposal. All bids shall remain in effect for thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. By submitting a bid for this project, bidder agrees he has read the Sampson Construction Standard Subcontract Agreement and if bid is accepted, is willing to execute this Subcontract Agreement without material modification. Subcontractor to guarantee material pricing at the time of bid submission. All pricing must be firm and must account for uncertainty created by market conditions. Any qualifications on bid concerning pricing will be rejected and may render bid nonresponsive.
