Fender and Waterline Repairs at Port Allen, Kauai, Hawaii

The scope of work for this project consists of repairing the fender system, concrete spalls and delaminations, stairs and guardrails, waterline and all other work identified in the contract documents at Port Allen Harbor, Kauai, Hawaii. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering Contractor's "A" license at the time when the HIePRO solicitation is due. TWIC security clearance will be required to complete the project. See Specifications for additional information. Hawaii Products Preference does not apply. See attached Plans and Specifications for additional project information. The bidder shall submit the proposal in HIePRO. The Proposal shall be UPLOADED to HIePRO prior to the offer due date and time. Contract Start and End Date shown in the HIePRO solicitation are estimates. The exact dates shall be provided in written notice by the Harbors Division Construction Engineer after award. All questions and requests for information (RFI) applicable to the bid documents shall be submitted via HIePRO no later than 14 calendar days before bid opening. Questions received Liquidated Damages: Three Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($315.00) for Each and Every Calendar Day Which the Contractor Has Delayed the Completion of This Project. The estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $800,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
