| Description | This project involves energy savings measures, which includes stopping air infiltration by insulating attics and sidewalls; caulking, weatherÂstripping and sealing of by-passes. To determine what air sealing measures will take place, a blower door test is done. The blower door test will help find air leaks and determine the tightness of the house. The blower door is primarily a large fan that pulls air out of the house. As it draws air out, a technician can accurately measure air tightness and locate air leaks. Also includes the inspection of furnaces and air conditioners for health, safety and mechanical operation. |
