Design - WestWorld Master Plan

The City of Scottsdale is seeking a qualified design firm to develop a master plan for WestWorld. WestWorld of Scottsdale is located off Loop 101 in between E Bell Road and the Central Arizona Project Canal. WestWorld is 386 acres of arenas, halls, banquet facilities, multi-use tents, fields, and parking lots for recreational vehicles and automotive uses. The complex hosts over 100 events each year and the City wants to improve the functionality of the overall facility. The following WestWorld upgrades are to be considered as part of the master plan: New and updated access to and within WestWorld Strategy and design options for efficient event and special use parking including: Options for flexible use of the parking areas Design to include of the use of wayfinding and technology solutions for parking management Inventory of assets and buildings and business analysis of assets including wear and tear of facilities Drainage analysis including the Reata Wash and the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Basins Analysis of Recreational Vehicle (RV) parking and hookup upgrades or improvements Lighting upgrades for fields, arenas, parking, and other structures Analysis of utility demand, capacity, and future upgrades Analysis of upgrades to existing public address system Cost estimating and value engineering General upgrades to the useable space we call WestWorld
