J041--Steam Station Regulator and Piping - Replace/Repair

The Miami VA Healthcare System, Engineering Service requires the replacement of existing Steam station for MICU/PCU and AHU’s on 3rd floor Roof. 4.1 The Contractor will furnish all materials including Regulating Valve (Watson McDaniel series HD), Control Pilot for regulating valve, Relief valve, 300psi gate valves, y-strainer, unions, pressure gauges, pigtails, globe valve, welding reducers, various nipples, reducers, 300psi black iron piping and insulation. 4.2 The contractor will all labor and equipment for replacing of existing Steam Station for MICU/PCU and AHU’s. 4.3 The contractor shall insulate all steam piping and valves with current insulation for steam systems. 4.4 The Contractor shall dispose of all trash and debris provided by the VAMC. 4.5 The contractor will ensure a fire extinguisher is readily available in the event of any smoke. 4.6 All work performed shall be in compliance with any manufacturer’s recommendations and applicable NEMA, NEC, ANSI, and VA standards. 4.7 The contractor shall perform immediately coordinating with the government at the convenience of the government. 4.8 Proper warranty on steam equipment applies.
