Academy Parking Lot Reconstruction

In general the work consists of reconstruction of approximately 86,000 square feet of asphalt pavement. The existing parking lot was constructed in 1985 and is now experiencing excessive degradation and represents safety issues and poor public appearance. Also, due to instances when vehicle volumes exceed parking capacity, there is a need for additional parking spaces. The parking lot reconstruction will create more parking capacity by filling in a few gaps in the existing parking area pavement on the north and east sides. Generally existing grades will be maintained.
