CDBG Funded Roadway Resurfacing Project at Willard Dunham Drive and Avenue C

The purpose of this contract is to resurface Willard Dunham Drive & Avenue C in the vicinity of the Julius C. Engel Housing Authority as shown on the attached sketch plan or as directed by the Township, in accordance to the project plans and specifications, using funding from the Township's Community Development Block Grant Programs. This project is being completely or partially funded by the Township of Edison with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as part of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Therefore, the Contractor is subject to the provisions of the Federal Labor Standards (Davis Bacon), which are conditions of the contract. The major items of work for this project consist of milling and resurfacing the roadway with 2inches of Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course; the removal and replacement of curbing, and/or curb and gutter where specified; the removal and reconstruction of curb returns and sidewalk for ADA-compliant public sidewalk curb ramps; traffic striping; and other incidental appurtenances necessary for a complete job.
