Description | Date Email Questions Due 06/21/2023, 2:00 PM Estimated Construction Cost: $230,000 to $270,000 The scope of this work includes the fabrication and installation of a new steel roof anchor system that the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus will utilize for worker fall protection and facade access on this building. The scope of this work includes the fabrication and installation of a new steel roof anchor system that the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus will utilize for worker fall protection and facade access on this building. This project includes only the work identified as "Phase 1" described on the "issued for bid" construction documents. The University anticipates that the remaining phases of this work will be completed at a later date. The Phase 1 work includes fabrication and installation of new roof anchors and tie-back systems, as well as patching/repairs of existing roofing system at all new roof anchor penetration locations. In addition to the work at building exterior/roof areas, construction work will also be required at the underside of the concrete roof decks, where designed anchor systems connect into the existing steel structure inside the building. This occurs at several different roof sections and at various occupied floor levels completed as part of the Phase 1 work. The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is using a design/bid/build delivery approach to provide construction services for this project. This project is intended to be bid by interested and qualified general contractors and will include specialty subcontractors. A Contractor's Agreement Design/Bid/Build (D/B/B) State Form SC-6.21 (State of Colorado, Office of the State Architect, State Buildings Program) will be utilized.
