Asbestos and Industrial Hygiene Consulting Services may include the following: Asbestos Abatement Design, Asbestos Management Plan Development and Updating, Air Sampling and Instrumentation, Analytical Chemistry, Basic Science, Biohazards, Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Chemical Exposure Evaluation, Community Exposure, Engineering Controls/Ventilation, Ergonomics, Hazard Assessments, Facility Surveys in Accordance with Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), Health Risk Analysis and Hazard Communication, IH Program Management, Laboratory Services, Lead in Paint Assessments, Noise, Non- Engineering Controls, OSHA Compliant Assessments, OSHA Worker Health and Safety Assessments, Personnel Monitoring, Preparation of Abatement Reports, Radiation – Ionizing and Non-Ionizing, Radon Measurement and Mitigation, Safety Data Sheet Review, Sampling and for Bulk and Air Samples, Supervision and Coordination, Thermal Imaging, Thermal Stressors, Toxicology, Ventilation Assessments, Volatile Organic Compound Evaluation, Work Environments and Industrial Processes, All Record Keeping for the District’s Asbestos Management Program, and Other Related Activities. All vendors will be asked to submit quotes for these services, the vendor who submits the lowest quote may be in a position to receive the majority of work.
