Survey and Engineering Services, District 7

To perform survey and engineering services in support of highway design projects that improve safety, operations, and maintain the integrity of highway infrastructure. Designs may include concept studies, construction plans, IFBs, and estimates. Detailed design services required include highway geometrics, drainage, stormwater management, utility coordination and/or designation, topographic surveys, right-of-way plats, landscape, environmental, traffic control devices, construction phasing, maintenance of traffic, sidewalks/shared use paths, structures, erosion/sediment control, construction phase support, and geotechnical analysis/design. Tasks will primarily be within SHA District 7 but tasks may be assigned in other areas of the State in support of other MDOT SHA offices. The type and number of specific project assignments will depend upon the district’s needs during the life of the contract and may include on-site staffing.
