Description

Provide all professional architectural and engineering (A/E) services necessary to develop complete drawings, specifications, cost estimates, construction schedules, project phasing, investigations, site visits and construction period services associated with improving roadway systems, drainage and parking at various campus wide locations at the Veterans Administration, Boston Healthcare System (VA BHS), Brockton Campus, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA. This project shall improve vehicular and patient safety through the design and construction of the following parking, roadway, walkway and drainage system improvements shown primarily as Phase 2 in attached “Conceptual Phasing Plan” and as described below: (Please note THIS project is called “PH 4”) Re-configure existing roadways and sidewalk to accommodate North Roundabout (Ph-2, Green shading) Re-configure Parking Lot 6 and 6A to increase parking and accommodate North Roundabout (Ph-2, Green shading) Pilgrim Ave from North Roundabout to Cape Cod Ave (Ph-2, Green shading) Cape Code Ave from Pilgrim Ave to Phase 1 improvements at Building 5 (Ph-2, Green shading) Re-configure/improve Parking Lot 11 in accordance with PVA parking plan (Ph-2, Green shading) Re-configure/improve Parking Lot 8 (Ph-2 Green shading) Design new Parking Lot 1A in accordance with the Phasing Plan (Ph-2, Green shading) Design new Parking Lot 8B on Northwest side of Cape Cod Rd opposite of Building 4 between entrance of Lot 8 and Building 62. Northeast Access Road between Belmont Street and North Roundabout and Cape Cod Ave between Mayflower Road and South Roundabout shall be identified as a Deduct Alternates (Ph-2 Green shading)
